Financial Planning and Analysis Role
This position reports to the Director of Global Operations FP&A, providing crucial support for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution activities. Based in Ireland with a global focus, it offers a unique opportunity to be involved in financial management, strategic evaluations, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
1. Support operations budgeting and forecasting, generating accurate and timely monthly financial results reporting and analysis.
2. Develop financial models and analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives and provide support for Senior Management decision making.
3. Partner with Product Development teams in cooperation with factory-based FP&A colleagues, providing financial insights, cost, and payback analysis related to new product initiatives.
4. Improve transparency and understanding of factory & product cost structures across the organization.
5. Manage global cost of poor quality (COPQ) data gathering, consolidation, and analysis.
6. Assist in the ERP migration to SAP S4 Hana.
7. Participate in monthly factory operations reviews and continuous improvement of consolidated reporting.
8. Manage capital expenditure process for operations, including supporting evaluation of capital investments, consolidating information across locations, and planning, reporting, and forecasting results.
9. Assist factory and supply chain teams in evaluating and communicating cost improvement projects. Develop and implement global standard approach.
Qualifications
1. Qualified Management accountant or BA/BS in Finance/Accounting, or related field required.
2. 10+ years post-qualification financial and operational experience, including time in large or mid-sized manufacturing and distribution environment.
3. Initiative-taker, motivated to drive improvements, proactive in setting and achieving goals, and communicating progress and findings.
4. Strong strategic thinking skills, ability to see big picture.
5. Proven partnership capabilities, influence cross-functionally.
6. Effective communication and presentation skills.
7. Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Business Intelligence tools, visualization tools like Tableau & Power BI highly desirable.
8. Experience implementing and improving business processes.
9. Ability to travel internationally occasionally, approximately 4-6 times per year.
