Senior Staff Process Optimisation Engineer
About the Role:
As a Senior Staff Process Optimisation Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines in our facility.
Main Responsibilities:
* Management of significant Engineering projects through Project Management Office (PMO)
* Provide Technical leadership from an engineering perspective
* Continuously improve process performance
You will work closely with Materials Science, Design and Quality Assurance departments to deliver a quality product on time. Additionally, you will drive process troubleshooting, structured problem-solving, and provide development and guidance for assigned team members.
Your key objectives include:
* Analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and ensuring timely resolution
* Leading Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA's), reviewing and supporting the development of Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), equipment manuals, etc.
* Validating systems and defining quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
We are looking for a skilled professional with:
* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
* Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects
* At least 6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Requirements:
* Strong ability to communicate and influence both internally and externally
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent technical experience
* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
* Lean Six Sigma certification
