This is a great opportunity to join a North Cork business and be involved in all areas of HR supported by the HR Manager. You will be mostly autonomous in the role with full support from the HR Manager. Aside from the day-to-day HR functions, you will also need strong analytical skills to collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics across the business, applying this data to support decision-making related to recruitment, retention, engagement, diversity, and policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics:
* You will be the onsite HR representative, involved in all HR areas, especially in collecting and compiling HR metrics from sources like the time and attendance system, employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, coaching sessions, and training databases (e.g., nVolve).
* Analyze data for trends related to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and legal compliance.
* Prepare reports and present findings to the HR manager.
* Make recommendations based on data analysis to improve organizational culture, attract qualified candidates, motivate employees, address staffing issues, and ensure legal compliance.
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Retention:
* Arrange and conduct inductions for new hires, covering all recruitment process aspects from advertising to onsite onboarding.
Data Management:
* Perform data cleansing to maintain accurate and meaningful information for reporting.
Compliance:
* Assist with internal HR compliance audits.
HR Support:
* Serve as the point of contact for HR queries, supported by the HR manager on complex issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, including creating spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations.
* Ability to navigate organizational software platforms like TMS and nVolve.
* Background and qualification in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Self-motivated and autonomous.
* Compliance-focused with high confidentiality standards.
