Candidates must hold either:
Bachelor of Science in Optometry.
Candidates must:
Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in eye examination and vision care, which includes refraction, dispensing of glasses, fitting of contact lenses, detection, and diagnosis and management of eye disease.
Have at least 5 years’ post registration experience
Note: Qualifications obtained outside of the Republic of Ireland will require validation by the appropriate professional body.
