Lyrath Estate Hotel, a prestigious 5-star establishment located on the outskirts of Kilkenny City, invites applications for the role of Wedding & Events Co-ordinator.
As a key member of our Sales & Events Department, you'll contribute to maintaining our exceptional standards and supporting our dynamic team.Position: Wedding & Events Co-ordinatorLocation: Lyrath EstateReports to: Assistant Director of Sales & Events / Director of Sales & MarketingAbout the RoleLyrath Estate is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Wedding & Events Co-ordinator to join our team.
This role combines the coordination of weddings and events, making it ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
From intimate weddings to large-scale corporate events, you'll ensure each occasion runs seamlessly in line with our service promise: "Be First to Greet" - our guarantee of warm, professional, and customer-focused service.Key ResponsibilitiesManage client relationships from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up.Meet with couples and event clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.Plan, coordinate, and manage weddings, corporate meetings, and special events.Liaise with internal departments (F&B, operations, reservations, accounts) to ensure flawless service delivery.Prepare detailed event plans, budgets, proposals, and timelines.Oversee on-site setup, logistics, and event execution, acting as the primary client contact on the day.Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Represent the hotel at bridal fairs, trade shows, and promotional events.Maintain accurate CRM records, contracts, and financial documentation.Provide feedback and insights to enhance our weddings and events offering.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in weddings and/or events within hospitality or a related industry.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.A creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hot soft or event management systems desirable.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Why Join Us?
