Your new role As a Fit Out Supervisor, you will oversee the finishing works on a variety of interior projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver finishing elements such as painting, flooring, joinery, and installations on time and within budget.
Conducting regular site inspections to maintain quality standards, health and safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
Coordinating with project managers, architects, and clients to resolve issues, track progress, and implement any necessary adjustments.
Preparing reports on project status, material usage, and resource allocation to support efficient workflow.
This hands-on role demands strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with opportunities to contribute to exciting, high-profile developments.
What you'll need to succeed To excel in this position, you should bring: Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in interior fit-outs, with a focus on finishing works in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and best practices, including relevant regulations and quality control processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree in construction management or equivalent trade certifications (e.g., CSCS card, SMSTS, SSSTS) Proficiency in project management tools and software, along with a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
