We are seeking a seasoned Construction Operations Manager to lead our construction operations team. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong background in project management, preferably in modular or traditional on-site construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of room builds to clients, ensuring SLAs, timelines, schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans are in place.
* Operations Management: Oversee all construction operations, including logistics, procurement, and supplier coordination, to ensure efficient project execution.
* People & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate subcontracting teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance to guarantee compliance with H&S regulations.
* Process Review & Development: Conduct internal reviews, audits, and checks on processes to refine and improve efficiency.
Requirements
* Degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
* Formal Project Management training is an advantage.
* 5+ years in project or operations management within the construction sector.
* Experience with off-site or modular construction is advantageous but not required.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency with tools like Excel, Gantt charts, or construction scheduling software.
