PE Global Locum Express is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Psychiatry of Old Age. This is a permanent opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, community-oriented mental health care to older adults across Waterford County.
About the Role:
Continuity-of-care model across inpatient and outpatient settings
Clinical leadership within a hospital-linked, community-based service
Service includes acute psychiatric care, domiciliary visits, nursing home assessments, and POA consultation-liaison
Collaboration with CMHTs, acute hospital services, and GPs
Essential Requirements:
Active Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in Psychiatry of Old Age
Available to start January 2026
Access to transport is essential
Three signed references spanning a minimum of 5 years (including current employer)
Signed Introduction Declaration Form confirming no work in ROI in past 36 months and no applications to HSE in the last 24 months
