Assistant Store Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our client's team in Co. Kerry.
The successful candidate will assist the store manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, with a focus on the plumbing and heating department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the store manager in managing the store's day-to-day activities
* Lead and manage a team to provide excellent customer service
* Maintain knowledge of plumbing, heating, renewable energy, hardware, and building materials
* Ensure effective stock control, rotation, and taking
* Work varied shifts including weekdays and weekends
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role
* Plumbing, heating, and renewable energy knowledge and experience essential
* Hardware and building materials retail background considered advantageous
* Proven leadership and management skills
* Strong communication, organisation, leadership, and time management skills
* Flexibility to work different shifts
* Experience with CRM systems
