Our company is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to lead our technical sales strategy and drive business growth. This role will involve developing and executing sales strategies with strong technical foundations, engaging in solution-based selling, and collaborating with clients to understand their technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies that are backed by strong technical expertise.
* Solution-Based Selling: Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and propose custom-engineered solutions.
* Technical Pre-Sales Activities: Support and lead pre-sales activities such as system design reviews, specification development, and technical proposal preparation.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the engineering department to ensure seamless project execution and provide input on engineering-related project planning and subcontractor coordination.
This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or related field, minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or engineering, and strong presentation skills.
Requirements:
* Engineering Degree: A degree in mechanical or related field is strongly preferred.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or project delivery within a manufacturing, HVAC, or construction-tech environment.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication and technical presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
