Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 430pm
Rate of Pay : €15.60
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver for a short-term 3-week contract based in Mallow. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
2. Deliver goods to customers across Cork and surrounding areas
3. Ensure timely deliveries and adherence to daily schedules
4. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
5. Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
6. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
7. Follow all road safety and driving regulations
Requirements:
8. Full clean B driver's licence
9. Minimum 1 year of van driving experience (preferably delivery or multi-drop)
10. Good geographical knowledge of Cork and surrounding counties
11. Strong time management and organisational skills
12. Good communication skills and customer-facing attitude
13. Physically fit and able to lift and carry goods
14. Must be reliable and punctual
Desirable:
15. Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. courier or logistics)
16. Manual handling certification (preferred but not essential)
