Cobalt Recruitment are partnering with a growing international advisory firm to appoint a Corporate Tax Director into their Dublin office.
This is a senior leadership opportunity within a rapidly expanding tax advisory team and offers a clear route to partnership for the right individual. The position provides the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of Irish and international businesses, supporting them on complex tax matters while helping shape the continued growth of the firm’s corporate tax offering.
You will operate in a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence both client strategy and the development of the wider tax practice.
The role
You will work closely with senior leadership while leading advisory engagements and managing a varied client portfolio. Responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients
Delivering practical and commercially focused tax advisory services
Advising clients on complex corporate tax matters and international structuring considerations
Supporting transaction-related work including restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and due diligence projects
Assisting businesses with tax strategy, governance and risk management
Working with colleagues across service lines on multidisciplinary advisory projects
Leading and mentoring members of the tax team and supporting their professional development
Playing an active role in business development and helping grow the firm’s tax advisory practice
Contributing to technical knowledge sharing and internal training initiatives
About you
Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent)
Strong experience within corporate tax advisory in a professional services environment
Excellent technical knowledge of corporate tax and international tax considerations
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver advisory projects
Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior professionals
Business development capability with the confidence to identify and develop new opportunities
Strong communication and leadership skills
