Responsibilities
:
1. Interpret capital structures and liquidity profiles of portfoliopanies to assess financial health.
2. Calculate key credit metrics and leverage ratios to assess credit worthiness of portfoliopanies.
3. Assist in the onboarding and monitoring of new portfoliopanies by analyzing financial statements, lender presentations,pliance certificates, and credit memos.
4. Review and assess financial data sets to identify trends and potential risks.
5. Liaise with internal teams to address credit and financial queries, ensuring effectivemunication and collaboration.
6. Support the building and updating of historical financial models and portfolio models under the guidance of senior analysts.
7. Contribute to the preparation of client credit reports for internal and external stakeholders.
8. Standardise corporate management accounts to client's financial and credit templates.
9. Customer focus, develop strong professional relationships with key clients.
10. Stay informed about industry trends and developments that may impact credit monitoring.
Qualifications:
11. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
12. 5 years of relevant experience in finance, credit analysis, or a related area (internships or co-op experience will be considered).
13. Strong analytical skills with a foundational understanding of financial statement analysis, fundamental data and credit mechanisms.
14. Proficiency in calculations and ratios used to assess the creditworthiness of portfoliopanies.
15. Knowledge of capital structures and liquidity profiles.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling concepts.
17. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
18. Strongmunication skills, both written and verbal.
