Offer description

The Role

Do you love telling stories through video, design, and social media? Are you excited by the idea

of creating content that sparks engagement and builds community?

We're seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our small but passionate team.

You'll report to the Head of Marketing, Communications & Admissions, working across digital

and traditional channels to:

* Grow our platforms and audiences,

* Share the authentic stories of our students and staff,

* Support admissions and community events,

* Bring fresh ideas to how we connect with families in Ireland and abroad.

This is a role where no two days are the same—you could be filming a hockey match, editing a

reel, brainstorming campaign ideas, tweaking SEO, or capturing behind-the-scenes moments

from a school play.

It's a chance to learn, experiment, and build your skills in digital advertising, SEO, content

creation, and campaign management while making a real impact in a unique environment.

What You'll Do

* Own and grow our social media channels with creative, engaging content.

* Capture authentic stories from around the school—photos, videos, blogs, reels.

* Experiment with formats and trends to boost reach and engagement.

* Keep our website fresh and user-friendly, with an eye on SEO and UX.

* Support school events by creating content before, during, and after.

* Collaborate with staff and students to bring their achievements to life.

* Work alongside brand, web development, and digital advertising agencies, as well

as professional photographers and videographers.

* Track and analyse performance, sharing insights to shape future campaigns.

* Stay curious—spot opportunities on emerging platforms and new trends.

What We're Looking For

* Some proven marketing experience (agency, in-house, freelance, or even strong

internships).

* A 3rd-level qualification in marketing, communications, or digital media—or equivalent

practical experience.

* A natural storyteller who enjoys people as much as pixels.

* Strong digital skills: Canva/Adobe, video/photo editing, WordPress, MailChimp, social

scheduling tools.

* Confidence with planning, organisation, and admin (we need someone who can keep

campaigns and content on track).

* A self-starter who's proactive, curious, and not afraid to try new ideas.

* An eye for design and detail, matched with excellent writing and communication skills.

What Will Make You Stand Out

* A portfolio or examples of your work—Instagram Reels, TikToks, blogs, campaigns—

where your creativity really shines.

* Experience in SEO, digital ads, or growing platforms.

A collaborative, can-do mindset: you thrive on working with people and bringing their

ideas to life.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique chance to develop your career in marketing while working in a creative,

supportive environment. You'll gain hands-on experience across digital advertising, content

creation, campaign strategy, and community engagement—skills that will set you up for

long-term success.

We also offer:

* Competitive salary.

* Generous annual leave and sick pay scheme.

* Onsite catering, tea/coffee breaks, and refreshments.

* Free access to on-campus fitness and leisure facilities.

* Tuition support for approved courses.

* Wellbeing supports: Employee Assistance Programme, library talks, wellbeing week, flu

jabs.

* Fun extras: family day BBQ, social events, book club.

* Free secure onsite parking, access to EV chargers and secure bike racks.

* Adjacent to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre with multiple bus options.

And best of all—you'll get to work in a stunning 80-acre parkland campus on the River Liffey,

surrounded by a creative, diverse, and welcoming community.

If you're ready to grow your skills, share great stories, and make a real impact, we'd love

to hear from you.
