A long-established, Automotive Importer and Distributor organisation seeks a newly created Product Manager. You will take end-to-end ownership of a diverse passenger vehicle portfolio, influencing competitive positioning, product specification, lifecycle strategy and go-to-market decisions across multiple brands. Balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery, the role offers real visibility, senior stakeholder influence and the opportunity to help shape how the organisation navigates the future of mobility while building a strong platform for longer-term leadership growth.ResponsibilitiesOwn competitive positioning across passenger vehicles, including pricing, specification, derivatives and lifecycle strategy.Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity and price indices, translating insight into commercial recommendations.Support new model introductions, facelifts and run-out strategies, including EV and technology-led vehicles.Manage vehicle ordering, configuration accuracy and supply chain coordination from factory to dealer.Act as a key interface with manufacturing partners, resolving product, pricing and supply queries.Play a central role in systems and data transformation, supporting dashboards, forecasting and reporting capability.Provide product expertise to dealer partners, supporting launches, training content and market readiness.Ensure regulatory compliance, governance and data accuracy across all product-related outputs.ExperienceWe are keen to speak with candidates who have built their careers within the automotive trade and understand the commercial and operational realities of the sector.You are likely to bring:5+ years' experience in product, pricing, planning or commercial roles within automotive distribution, OEMs or large dealer groups.Strong understanding of passenger vehicle markets, pricing structures and competitive dynamics.Experience working with manufacturers, supply chains and dealer networks.High confidence using data, reporting tools and systems to support product and sales decisions.The ability to influence across functions and brands, often without formal authority.A structured, resilient and agile approach in a fast-moving, regulated environment.The RewardThis is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility product role at a pivotal moment for the automotive industry.
