About Us
We're seeking an experienced construction professional to lead the delivery of growth in Ireland. As a leader, you'll be responsible for managing pre and post contract programmes of construction projects, from early design management and planning processes, to concluding final accounts and issuing Completion Certificates.
Responsibilities include:
* Forming new client relationships and delivering high quality work to ensure service deliverables are achieved.
* Managing teams to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures.
* Administering contracts as a Contract Administrator, Employer's Representative, NEC Project Manager, or Employer's Agent.
* Mentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potential.
* Preparing bids for services and managing service delivery for profit.
This role requires broad, in-depth project management experience post MSCSI / MRICS qualification. You should have detailed knowledge and practiced experience of programme software, comprehensive knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
You will also need to have thorough knowledge and experience of post-contract project management tasks, clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts, ability to motivate others and lead high performance teams, clear and effective communication skills, methodical way of thinking and approach to work, ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily, excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills, sound ICT skills, and ability to prepare first-class bids for services.
The ideal candidate will have a Construction Related Degree, Member of Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (MSCSI) or Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and additional post qualification training, qualifications or degrees in Leadership, Contract Law, Management or Finance welcomed.
