Continuous Improvement Engineer II
Responsibilities
This is a high-impact role focused on driving Lean transformation, delivering measurable operational improvements and embedding a strong CI culture across the site.
Lead and deliver cross-functional CI projects to improve quality, cost, delivery and overall performance.
Facilitate engaging Lean initiatives including Kaizen, VSM, A3, 5S, 3P and structured problem solving.
Drive measurable year-on-year cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Coach and develop teams in Lean tools, behaviours and continuous improvement principles.
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to implement sustainable process improvements.
Champion and actively promote the GROWTTH® framework across the site.
Ensure all process improvements comply with ISO13485, FDA and relevant regulatory requirements.
Embed sustainability, health & safety, environmental and energy management considerations into all initiatives.
Support positioning the site as a recognised Centre of Excellence for Continuous Improvement.
Achieve agreed milestones, KPIs and performance objectives.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Science (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
Proven experience in Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Strong practical application of Lean methodologies (Kaizen, VSM, A3, 5S, 3P).
Experience working within a regulated environment (ISO13485 / FDA desirable).
Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable operational and cost improvements.
Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
