To succeed in this pivotal role, you'll need to be an accomplished people manager with a passion for fostering teamwork and encouraging your team to deliver outstanding results. You should also be eager to learn and adapt, particularly in areas like grooming and sales floor management.
This is a full-time position that requires weekend work at least one day a week. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and motivating your team to achieve sales targets and personal growth
* Setting and meeting customer service expectations in-store
* Driving the success of the grooming studio to maximize bookings and repeat business
* Managing stock levels, including inventory counts, ordering, and replenishment processes
* Ensuring the well-being and comfort of our animals
* Overseeing in-store events like animal welfare initiatives and employee recognition programs
While prior retail experience is essential, we're happy to provide training on pet care and product knowledge.
You'll participate in regular meetings with fellow managers to stay updated on new business developments and best practices.
