Speech and Language Therapist Role
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults through comprehensive assessments.
* Demonstrate expertise in creating personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities in patients of all ages.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to educate patients and their families on communication strategies and provide ongoing support throughout the therapy process.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy from a recognized institution.
* CORU Registration is mandatory for this position.
* Completion of Dysphasia Training is highly valued.
* A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred but not necessary.
* Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic healthcare environments.
* Full driving license and access to own car is desirable but not necessary.
* Residency in Ireland and eligibility to work without restriction.
* All candidates must undergo Garda Vetting.
* International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16) may be required.
