We are currently recruiting for an Production Planning Lead to join our clients, food manufacturing operation in County Kerry.Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.This is a key leadership role within the Supply Chain function, responsible for driving effective production planning, S&OP, and cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced FMCG production environment.This is a full time position, based fully on site in County Kerry.The Role Lead the end-to-end production planning and scheduling function across the site.Develop short-, medium-, and long-term production plans aligned to demand, capacity, and inventory targets.Own and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.Ensure effective coordination of raw materials, packaging, production capacity, and finished goods availability.Partner closely with Procurement and Operations to manage constraints, optimise line utilisation, and improve service levels.Lead and develop the production planning team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Track and report key KPIs including service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, waste, and schedule adherence.About You 3+ years experience in production planning or supply chain within food or FMCG manufacturing.Strong working knowledge of S&OP, ERP/MRP systems, and inventory management.Third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or similar; APICS/CPIM desirable.
