Building Systems Installation Specialist
The role involves overseeing the installation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring technical services contractors perform as per specification and program requirements.
* Reviewing design progress, liaising with the design team, and resolving issues related to design and construction quality.
* Implementing benchmarking and quality control processes to ensure high-quality installations.
* Attending regular meetings to report on technical services installation status.
* Contributing to monthly operations reports and participating in client project meetings.
* Providing technical support for site installation management and conducting regular site inspections.
* Overseeing the development and issuance of operation and maintenance manuals and 'As Built' information from trade contractors.
* Collaborating with trade contractors, planners, and construction managers to develop specialist and commissioning programs.
* Leading the commissioning process, coordinating with technical services design teams and building control inspectors.
* Monitoring document control systems and tracking information flow against program requirements.
