ProSource are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a leading Main Contractor who are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of ongoing projects across Cork.
€45,000 - €60,000 + Package on offer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior to Mid-Level Health & Safety Officer looking to join a well-established contractor delivering a range of high-profile construction projects throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
Support site management teams in the implementation of Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work
Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors
Assist with the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Monitor subcontractor compliance and promote a positive safety culture on site
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Maintain Health & Safety documentation and records in line with company requirements
Report on Health & Safety performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders on all Health & Safety matters
Keep up to date with current Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications and Experience
Degree qualified in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline
1–5 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and construction site practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
Strong organisational and reporting skills
Full driving licence
