Overview
Were currently seeking Part-Time Food & Beverage Waitstaff to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role requires availability to work both midweek and weekends.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisors, the successful candidate will deliver friendly, efficient service to our guests across the Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant, and Function Rooms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* To greet regular customers courteously.
* To find appropriate tables and sit guests for dining.
* To take food and drink orders in a hospitable manner.
* Monitor the bar / restaurant floor to ensure efficient and personalised service is delivered to customers.
* Ensure a good working knowledge of the food and drinks on our menus and be willing and able to make recommendations.
* Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
* To up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible both in the hotel or wider group.
* Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.
About The Role
The Ideal candidate:
* Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant would be advantageous.
* Enjoy working with the public
* Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Maximum flexibility with regards to hours/ must be available to work over a 7 day period- Must be flexible to work midweek and weekends
* Be a great team player.
* Fluent in English.
