Patient Liaison Officer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Liaison Officer to join our busy team in Cork.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to provide accurate information to patients, GPs, and consultants.
Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, managing switchboard operations, maintaining office security and visitor protocols, scheduling and managing appointments, registering patients and updating records, processing payments and invoices, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Additionally, the successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support, prepare patient charts and clinic lists, and compile and report statistics on referrals and enquiries.
The role requires flexibility, as the successful candidate may be required to work one in three Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 2pm.
