We are currently recruiting an experienced Floor Supervisor / Floor Manager to support the senior management team across our busy venues: O'Connell's Pub, our fine dining restaurant The Pier House, and our soon-to-open restaurant Molly Malones in Howth.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering consistently high standards of service across food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage floor operations across all service periods, including lunch, dinner, and bar service Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team during service Ensure exceptional guest experience and handle guest queries or issues professionally Support management with daily operations, staff supervision, and shift organisation Assist with staff training, development, and mentoring Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation across all venues Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards Ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with Irish legislation Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisor or Manager role within hospitality Experience in a high-volume pub, restaurant, or fine dining environment Strong leadership, organisational, and customer service skills Excellent knowledge of food & beverage operations Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Fluent English (spoken and written) Desirable Experience across multiple venues or service styles (pub, fine dining, restaurant) HACCP or food safety certification Strong bar knowledge, including cocktails and drinks service Benefits Competitive salary, commensurate with experience 4-day working week Pension scheme Performance-related bonuses Opportunities for career progression across multiple venues Supportive and professional working environment
