Clinical Nurse Manager Out of Hours
Job Description
The post holder will provide professional and clinical leadership during non-core hours, as directed by the senior nurse management team. They will be responsible for site management across the seven-day week and allocated responsibility to designated clinical areas as required.
Rotation onto nights will be a requirement of this post, and the post holder will oversee the management of resources, including staffing and staff development. They will facilitate communication across healthcare teams and provide cover in the absence of an ADON on duty.
The post holder will report directly to the Director of Nursing and play a pivotal role in service planning and development, coordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.
Responsibilities include overseeing the quality of nursing care, developing and implementing policy and procedures, monitoring activity, and delivering agreed levels of service for the designated area(s).

Practice nursing according to professional clinical guidelines, local policies, protocols, and legislation.
Manage own caseload in accordance with the needs of the post.
----------------------------------- Qualifications & Experience:
Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI.
Have at least seven years post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
A minimum of two years' experience at Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Grade.
