Location: Hillerod, DenmarkSector: PharmaceuticalDuration: 6 monthsRotation:10-4Start Date: Immediate Role Description: Quality Assurance Test Pack EngineerPrimary Objective:To develop and manage mechanical and system test packs for quality verification, ensuring all work meets project specifications, codes, and regulatory standards prior to commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities:· Develop mechanical, piping, and system test packs (hydrostatic, pneumatic, flushing, etc.
).· Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to define testing scope and boundaries.· Ensure inclusion of all required documentation: isometrics, P&IDs, test procedures, material certificates, weld logs, NDT reports, etc.· Review test pack contents for completeness and compliance with project standards.· Validate weld completion, line clearance, and punch list close prior to test execution.· Ensure alignment with ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).· Liaise with construction and QA/QC representatives.· Coordinate testing schedules and readiness with site teams.· Maintain accurate records of all test packs and their status.· Ensure traceability of all materials, welds, and inspection results.· Update and manage the test pack tracking system.· Ensure all tests are witnessed and signed off by required parties (QA/QC, client, third-party inspectors).· Compile final test pack dossiers for mechanical completion and handover to commissioning. Skills and Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
(Preferred but not required) 3–5+ years experience in QA/QC or test pack engineering (preferably pharmaceutical industry).
Strong understanding of piping systems, welding processes, and QA documentation.
Familiarity with ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant standards.
Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and project specifications.
Experience with test pack software or document management systems is a plus.
