Job Description:
The position of Member Services Officer involves a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union. This role is responsible for assisting members with their account management, processing loan applications, onboarding new members, and providing quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting members via phone, face-to-face interaction, website, email, or back office support
- Providing a courteous, professional service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Performing back office administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Experience working in a frontline role within a financial institution preferred
- Qualifications such as QFA/APA/CUA are preferable but not necessary
- Good administration skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
