Business Development Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Professional to provide quotations, build relationships, and manage customer accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company targets.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to secure new customers and expand existing relationships.
3. Record all interactions with customers in the company CRM system.
4. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting.
5. Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to senior management.
6. Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to prepare and source rate quotations for customers.
7. Meet or exceed annual quote targets, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
8. Oversee key accounts, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
9. Regularly review customer accounts to confirm charges are in line with company guidelines.
10. Meet with senior directors to review account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
11. Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal colleagues.
12. Focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that increase satisfaction and profitability.
13. Actively identify opportunities to increase revenue in line with company focus areas.
14. Ensure customers are aware of terms, conditions, and credit arrangements.
