We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional support and advice to site management teams and staff on occupational safety, health, environmental, and quality matters.
About the Role:
The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for:
* Providing expert advice on health and safety procedures and protocols.
* Carrying out regular site inspections to identify potential hazards.
* Assisting staff and contractors in complying with relevant legislation and client standards.
* Developing and implementing measures to reduce and control risks.
* Producing regular performance reports on health and safety metrics.
* Alerting senior management to significant incidents or accidents.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience working in a health and safety role on construction sites in Ireland.
* Good academic qualifications, preferably a degree in a related field.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and management systems.
* A high standard of written English and excellent communication skills.
* A full driving license.
