Information Technology Specialist
We are seeking an IT professional to join our team in a permanent, onsite role that requires 5 days of work per week.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain company servers in cloud-based environments, including network and systems administration.
* Support the implementation of new hardware and software applications, working closely with stakeholders and vendors.
* Deploy new software updates from planning and testing to rollout.
* Implement robust security measures by installing firewalls, antivirus software, and security protocols.
* Develop and oversee data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
* Patching and Vulnerability Management: Ensure all systems and servers are up-to-date and secure.
* System Administration: Execute standard tasks such as reviewing system logs and responding to system alerts.
* Initial Point of Contact: Handle all IT inquiries and issues.
* User Account Management: Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Hardware and Software Support: Provide support for desktops, laptops, smart devices, and software application installations.
* Documentation: Create and maintain IT process documents and troubleshooting guides.
* Team Support: Assist the wider IT team with development, testing, and transition of new or upgraded applications and services.
