Orange Recruitment are looking for a forward thinking professional to lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance strategy, and infrastructure development of our clients high performing production facility.
If you thrive in fast paced, high compliance settings and have a knack for improving systems while managing costs, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the upkeep and performance of all site services, utilities, support equipment, and infrastructure.
Minimise downtime through effective monitoring, issue resolution, and strategic decision-making.
Design, implement, and oversee a robust preventative maintenance plan for all plant equipment and critical building systems.
Uphold a zero-compromise approach to Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensuring adherence to national and sector-specific legislation.
Partner with HSE teams and regulatory bodies during audits or inspections.
Lead contract negotiations and manage external partners for services such as cleaning, waste, security, HVAC, and fire safety.
Monitor performance, KPIs, and compliance of all third-party vendors.
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for facilities operations, projects, and upgrades.
Ensure capital investments deliver value and long-term cost efficiency.
Oversee facilities-related capital projects, from office or plant expansions to the installation of new machinery or energy systems.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements A bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Operations, or a related discipline (preferred).
A minimum of 5 years' experience managing facilities in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial setting.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, water, etc.).
Experience working with regulatory frameworks (ISO, EHS, EPA, etc.).
Excellent stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and communication skills.
Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
High proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
