If this sounds like you, we have the ideal role here at FoodCloud.About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to join and support the growth of a proven organisation that has already been making a real community, environmental, and business impact.The key duties are: picking and packing orders, booking in and putting away stock (ambient, chilled, and frozen) working with volunteers where applicable, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, loading and unloading vehicles for distribution and collection of food and ensuring the ongoing success of Hub for FoodCloudKey ResponsibilitiesComply, on a daily basis, with issues including food hygiene, health and safety, security of the van, and the safety and wellbeing of all staff and volunteersCarrying out deliveries and collections to and from food suppliers and charity partners as requiredMaintain a positive relationship and good communication with food suppliers and community member recipient projectsReview all supplier and charity collections with the Hubs Manager on a daily basisWork with the Hubs Manager to implement new and existing operational and logistics proceduresAssist the Hubs Manager with warehouse duties: Goods In, Dispatch,, picking orders, stock taking, general housekeeping, and other duties per business needsLoad vehicles and distribute products to charities on a daily basisEnsure that the vehicles used by the Hub are inspected, maintained, roadworthy, and legal (taxed and insured, etc.).
