As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning, procurement and installation of mechanical systems in a pharma plant.
* You will manage project schedules, budgets and contractors to ensure that HVAC, piping and utilities meet GMP standards.
* Coordinate with design and engineering teams to guarantee all projects meet client specifications.
* Regular site visits and inspections are required to monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* You must establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Manage the financial aspects of each project, including cost control and budgeting.
* Evaluate whether all work complies with relevant legislation, codes and standards, including health and safety regulations.
* Implement processes to track, review and control project expenditures.
* Work closely with Directors and Site Managers to provide recommendations, identify potential risks or issues and find suitable resolutions.
* Prepare weekly progress reports for clients and engineering managers.
* Generate monthly progress reports for Senior Management/Directors.
