About the Role:
O'Donoghue Ring Collection's culinary team is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to support kitchen leadership. The ideal candidate will possess excellent culinary expertise, a passion for delivering high-quality dishes, and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing and cooking diverse menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and innovative menu offerings.
* Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
* Support senior chefs in managing kitchen staff, ensuring seamless operations.
* Oversee specific kitchen sections, ensuring efficient teamwork and effective use of resources.
* Contribute to training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
* Manage inventory, minimizing waste through strategic ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
* Ensure fresh ingredients are stored and available for use, maintaining exceptional food quality.
