Job Purpose
The Store Manager provides overall leadership and supervision to the entire staff of the restaurant to ensure that the restaurant meets or exceeds its targets.
The Store Manager directly supervises assistant managers, training coordinators, and staff at the unit level.
The Store Manager operates with an owner-like approach, with support from the area manager as needed to align goals with the company.
Core responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, training, community involvement, inventory control, and labor control.
Responsibilities
Coaches, counsels, and develops Assistant and Trainee managers into self-sufficiency to build and maintain high sales and profits.
Responds to requests from various head office departments.
Leads recruitment, selection, placement, training, development, and HR plans.
Engages in community-generating business and goodwill initiatives.
Investigates and responds to employee relations and customer complaints with potential impact on the business.
Plans and prioritises effectively; operates within the guidelines of the law.
Adapts to new procedures, standards, and changes as directed by the company or legislation.
Conducts in-house appraisals in a timely fashion, leading to personnel development plans for all employees.
Maintains professional conduct, especially when in the public eye.
Directs media inquiries to the Area Manager/Marketing Director.
Understands customer profiles and targets the market accordingly.
Is fully flexible regarding working hours, including weekends and nights.
Meets targets for food costs, labour costs, customer count, QSC Audit, mystery shopper, and pizza audit scores.
Leadership
Supervises others, delegates tasks, and maintains control in difficult situations.
Provides clear direction and direction, leads by example, and communicates restaurant goals with a motivating vision.
Promotes quality food, systems, and service, and is dedicated to customer satisfaction.
