Job Overview
The Facilities Manager role is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of facilities soft-services on-site. Key responsibilities include ensuring that all contractors maintain legislative and regulatory accreditation, monitor staffing issues to prevent turnover, and maintain regular contact with the Contracts Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all contractors are fully trained and motivated
* Monitor contract staff performance and provide feedback
* Coordinate all soft services contractors working under the company's scope
* Manage and coordinate all PMs and Work Orders in a safe and effective manner
* Develop and implement quality systems and report on quality directives
* Identify critical work activities and complete them on time
Requirements:
* 3 to 5 years' experience in building services or contractor co-ordination
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to develop teamwork through leadership and people management
* Customer-focused and results-driven
