Lawn Care Spray Technician Job Opportunity

* Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides to client properties using various equipment.
* Measure, mix, and prepare chemical solutions for trees, shrubs, and lawns.
* Follow work order specifications and maintain proper documentation, including pesticide labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
* Inspect worksites for underground utilities and installations, and set up traffic control and vehicle safety measures.
* Diagnose plant diseases and determine appropriate treatments.
* Operate and maintain sprayer equipment, including loading materials, filling tanks, and ensuring machinery efficiency.
* Adhere to safety regulations, use safety equipment, and safely handle materials.
* Perform site clean-up and maintenance tasks.
* Communicate with clients about diagnoses and treatments.
* Keep daily application records and time reports.
Job Requirements
* Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
* Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
* Valid Driver's License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
* Successful completion in the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Technician training program as a plant heath care technician or the ability to obtain qualification within 90 days of hire.
* Ability to complete required safety courses.
* Applicator licenses acquired as necessary per state requirements.
* Ability to operate mobile power equipment.
