Requirements:
We are currently recruiting experienced Kitchen Porter for our Restaurant in Dublin City Centre.
Kitchen Steward is in charge of keeping kitchen areas hygienic, clean and safe as well as assisting at cooking, serving, cleaning tables, washing dishes, etc., in the restaurant and in the kitchen.
HACCP & Manual Handling certificates are an asset.
Responsibilities :
Wash pots and pans by hand, to wash cutlery and dishes in dishwashers or by hand.
Unload deliveries, and store them according to kitchen supervisors.
Ensure proper storage of foodstuffs.
Wash and peel vegetables.
Assist chefs and deli assistants in preparing and serving high standard food and desserts.
Operate and clean equipment correctly and safely adhering to cleaning and maintenance schedules.
Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe and tidy at all times.
Make sure that all work surfaces, cookers and machines are clean and free from germs.
Sweep and mop floors.
Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations.
Additional duties as required, to comply with any reasonable request by the Head Chef, Supervisor or Management.
