Front Desk Receptionist – Killarney Towers Hotel
O'Donoghue Ring Collection is a portfolio of hotels, apartments, spa, restaurants & bars located in the vibrant town centre of Killarney and Castle Island, Co. Kerry. The Killarney Towers Hotel is a 4*, 182‑bedroom property in the heart of Killarney.
We are seeking an experienced Full‑Time Front Desk Receptionist to work 5 shifts per week, including weekends.
What you'll do
* Manage all reception duties as part of the wider Front Office Team.
* Ensure guests are completely satisfied through prompt handling of queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Anticipate guest needs and provide service beyond expectations.
* Maintain strong knowledge of all front‑office standards and performance.
* Answer the switchboard and hotel telephone according to company standards.
* Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments.
About you
* Previous experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel is an advantage.
* A team player with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
* Detail‑orientated, with a desire to progress within the luxury hospitality market.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of the Hotsoft operating system is an advantage but not essential.
* Fluent English language skills are essential.
