Store Manager – Co. Tipperary
Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Store Manager on behalf of our client's forecourt convenience store in Co. Tipperary. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail manager to take full ownership of a high-volume, fast-paced forecourt operation, driving standards, sales, and team performance across food-to-go, shop floor, and forecourt services.
Salary: €45k – €50k
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the forecourt store, ensuring smooth and efficient running
2. Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver top-notch customer service
3. Drive sales growth and profitability through effective merchandising, stock control, and promotional strategies
4. Manage inventory and stock replenishment, ensuring optimal product availability
5. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety throughout the store and forecourt
6. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, food safety, and company policies
7. Monitor and analyse store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Forecourt Manager in a retail or convenience setting
10. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
11. A commercial mindset with experience in sales, stock management, and cost control
12. Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experience
13. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
