The CNM3, is responsible for developing and coordinating the community specialist palliative care service while providing clinical leadership to the team.
The CNM3 will lead and support the community palliative care team, in collaboration with the consultant in Palliative Medicine and other nurse management colleagues, fostering a philosophy of care and interdisciplinary team work.
Key responsibilities include:
· The coordination, integration and management of the community multidisciplinary team.
· Supervise evidence based specialist palliative care nursing;
· Oversee and monitor the quality of nursing care, the development and implementation of nursing policy and procedures;
