We are currently hiring a DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team building and operating secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within a regulated environment.
This role will focus on Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, CI/CD Automation, Observability, AI-enabled workloads, and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
4+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles
Strong hands‑on experience with GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, and GitLab CI/CD
Experience managing GCP services including VPCs, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery
Experience operating hardened Kubernetes/GKE environments including RBAC, Network Policies, Private Clusters, and secure deployment strategies
Experience deploying and managing Python‑based Cloud Functions and AI/data‑processing workloads
Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, Audit Logging, Least‑Privilege Access, Secret Rotation, Encryption, and Cloud KMS
Experience building secure CI/CD Pipelines with SAST/DAST, Vulnerability Scanning, SBOM Generation, Artifact Signing, and controlled release workflows
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alloy, Elastic Stack, and Google Cloud Monitoring & Logging
Experience supporting SLIs/SLOs, Incident Response, Post‑Mortems, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore, and High‑Availability Strategies
Experience securing and optimising BigQuery environments including Dataset IAM, Row‑Level Security, Slot Management, and audit‑friendly access patterns
Strong Python scripting and automation experience
Experience with Cost Optimisation, GKE Autoscaling, Cloud Functions Scaling, and cloud spend reporting
Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other regulated/high‑security environments
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams
Strong Communication, Stakeholder Management, Documentation, and operational process skills
