They are currently expanding the team and seeking a talented Litigation Solicitor to join their dedicated Medical Negligence Team.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-performing, collaborative legal environment and provide profound insights to help clients achieve justice.
Day-to-day of the role: Handle High Court medical negligence litigation cases.
Manage large scale discovery processes, leveraging your experience to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Draft legal documents with precision and advocate for clients' needs effectively.
Negotiate settlements and other agreements in a manner that aligns with client interests and legal standards.
Instruct and liaise with medical and other experts to gather necessary evidence and insights for cases.
Analyse case materials meticulously to ensure thorough preparation and attention to detail.
Manage client relationships, ensuring communication is clear, professional, and supportive.
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet case goals and client expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in High Court medical negligence litigation.
Experience with large scale discovery is advantageous.
Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
Ability to instruct and liaise effectively with various experts.
Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Genuine interest in plaintiff welfare.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office; experience with Key House case management software is desirable.
