Front Office Manager

On behalf of a leading 4‑star corporate hotel in Dublin West, we are recruiting an experienced and people‑focused Front Office Manager to join the senior leadership team of a high‑volume, fast‑paced property catering primarily to business and corporate guests, with a strong meetings and events offering.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a proven track record in managing front office operations, developing teams, and driving service excellence and revenue.


Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the front office team including reception, concierge, and night audit.
* Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork across all front office functions.
* Coach, mentor, and develop team members through structured training, performance reviews, and ongoing support.
* Implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to support upselling initiatives and maximise guest spend.
* Ensure smooth and professional check‑in/check‑out processes and handle guest queries and complaints effectively.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly for meetings and events.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators including guest satisfaction, team productivity, and upselling performance.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and scheduling to ensure optimal staffing and service levels.


Candidate Profile

* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Front Office Manager in a busy 4‑star or higher hotel.
* Strong leadership skills with a hands‑on, people‑first approach.
* Proven experience in team development, SOP implementation, and operational improvement.
* Commercially aware with a solid understanding of revenue generation through guest service.
* Proficient in hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
