The BAS would be reporting to the Manufacturing Readiness Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining efficient and correct usage of SAP/MES within Operations to enable stock accuracies and batch traceability.

The BAS is responsible for SAP/MES usage within Operations and acting as a point of contact for business application initiatives.
This will involve:
General Activities
* SAP single point of contact for key user/end user support & issue escalations within Operations department.
* Point of contact for Business Applications related initiatives/projects – representing Cork Ops on all impacting projects coming from global (e.g. system upgrades), local (e.g. change requests), other (e.g. JJPS).
* Developing and supporting key user training.
* Business Process Analysis for new functionality or modifications.
* Coordinate, support and train the key user structure.
* Maintain SAP related SOPs/WIs and all other supporting documentation like jobcards, training material.
* Support delivery of end user training for SAP.
* Manage SAP system access requests and approval for locally owned SAP roles.
* Perform periodic SAP access reviews for functional roles.
* Representative for SAP change management, raising change requests, defining user requirements, building business cases, representing Cork Ops on change management boards, and reviewing and testing changes to the system.
* Act as delegate for Business Applications Owner, as required

Organisational Interfaces
* Interface at (Team Leader, Manager and Director level) with all site departments, Operations and Maintenance.
* Contact with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, OTS, Validation and Training departments as required. Contact with other Janssen Biologics sites as required.
* Be conscious of internal customers to Manufacturing department and be cognisant of their requirements.

A minimum level 7 qualification in a relevant science or engineering field with experience in SAP, MES, and GMP environments.
You will also bring:
* A minimum level 7 qualification in either Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Science or Engineering.
* Experience of SAP, MES, electronic documentation system and/or other business systems.
* Manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment.
* Project / New equipment/system installation experience
* Postgraduate Qualification.
* Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.
