We are currently seeking an experienced and motivatedR&D Laboratory Supervisorto join our Continence Care team in Ballina.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of R&D Technicians, manage the day-to-day operations of our laboratory, and coordinate key activities that support product development.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring our lab operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards—while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of R&D Technicians to support product builds, testing, and sterilization activities.Manage the R&D lab facility, including equipment calibration, maintenance, and material inventory.Establish systems for processing test requests and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.Maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready lab environment in line with Hollister's EH&S policies.Support customer and VIP visits by coordinating lab demonstrations and activities.What You Bring:5–8 years of experience in a research or laboratory setting, ideally within the medical device industry.Proven leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Degree in Engineering or a Science discipline is essential.Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with project management practices.Join us and be part of a purpose-driven company where your work directly contributes to improving lives around the world.
