Primary Responsibilities

Consult with your supervision regarding your actual job responsibilities and any related duties that may be required for the position.
Deliver and release of all pertinent documentation including but not limited to the Final Global Target Budget and Country Budgets.
Review of Authority to Spend (ATS) documentation for each Investigator Grant Budget
Adhere to required timeframes for development of GTIB's and escape any issues which prevent timeframes from being met.
Provide operational and tactical support for the Investigator Grants and if required the Clinical Costing and Forecasting Teams
Maintain if required key updates to supporting documentation, training, tools, and templates used in Budgeting procedures.
Support efforts related to the transformation of Investigator Grants budget development
Support completeness of budgets including assumptions documents and cost drivers.
Collaborate with business partners in a variety of functions to understand costs and significant drivers of value and change as well as diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to systems and reports.
Maintain departmental collaboration sites to ensure easy transfer of trials between budget associates.
Support special projects as needed including those which are functional and cross-functional in nature as required.
Actively participate in and ensure integrated success of functional objectives.
Seek opportunities to capture and share learning with peers and functions
Help with the establishment of metrics and data relating to Investigator Grant Budgets to gain insights and innovations within the TC function
Raise issues, elevate concerns, and propose solutions as appropriate
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years Industry Experience, preferably in Clinical development and/or Project Management; or Associate Degree with 5-10 years Industry Experience, preferably in Clinical development and/or project management
Strong acumen in understanding how to leverage data to drive critical decisions
General understanding of trial design and how it relates to Budgets, Costing and Forecasting
Ability to build strong relationships, and keenly provide insights on continuous improvement
Ability to anticipate and recognize issues, diagnose root causes, and support work intended to foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement
Ability to leverage critical thinking and problem solving skills to both sustain strong relationships with key business partners and for the identification and delivery of process improvements and identify suggested process improvements
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within and across work groups.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Able to anticipate and recognize real issues, diagnose root causes, validate/confirm, and propose creative alternatives.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible with work assignments.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and achieve new outcomes as directed.
Other Information/Additional Preferences
Clinical trial operational experience across Therapeutic Areas and Phases
Preferred experience: Minimum of 1-3 years experience working with drug development costs, and specifically Clinical development
