Logistics Coordinator Overview The Despatch Office Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Despatch Office and customer collections counter.
This is a customer-facing role that plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional collections process.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with internal sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to coordinate customer order collections, manage site visitors and couriers, and complete associated administrative and transport coordination duties.

Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the Despatch Office and customer collections area Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring all customers feel welcome, valued, and supported Liaise closely with warehouse teams to ensure customers and visitors are attended to promptly Provide on-site, customer-facing support to the internal sales team Ensure the Despatch Office is manned, organised, and presentable at all times Handle incoming customer phone calls and manage or redirect collection-related queries appropriately Complete all administrative duties related to the collections process, including POD scanning and returns documentation Represent the business in a professional and friendly manner at all times Ensure all couriers and visitors are signed in and out and directed safely around the site Proactively work with warehouse and sales teams to reduce customer and visitor waiting times Respond to customer queries efficiently and effectively Key Requirements Previous experience in an office-based administrative role Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly approach Ability to plan and coordinate driver routes Excellent telephone manner Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritise workload Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment Experience using ERP systems (Intact experience is desirable) Ability to work to deadlines Flexible, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic Self-motivated, resilient, and conscientious Skills: despatch customer services administration Benefits: pension
