Experienced Accountant Role in Finance
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our finance team in Tipperary.
About the Job:
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts for group entities, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and optimal resource allocation.
* Collaborate with the team to identify and implement system improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
* Oversee cash flow and financial reporting, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.
* Develop and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Ensure strong internal controls are in place, safeguarding assets and minimizing risk.
* Manage year-end audit processes, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and successful outcome.
Requirements:
* A recognized Accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Minimum 13 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
* Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in finance systems and software
* Superior communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of collaboration and teamwork
* Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
